So what is The Everything Garage? 

I have been waiting to tackle this project ever since we purchased this house in 2015. It’s my personal garage. It’s hard to describe the garage in it’s current form as anything other than a framing mistake. It was built around two trees (they are stumps now), has an odd man door addition with a wooden floor, and the roof line has one funky curve. Never mind the fact there is more levels of concrete than I can count. It’s finally time for a new garage!

Our hope is to construct a new three car garage covering 912 square feet. This is our third or fourth iteration of planning for this project after the building and development services department shut down the first plans. 

We are calling it The Everything Garage because our goal is to have it do everything our current house and garage don’t. We want to include a gym space with bouldering wall, complete outdoor gear storage, room for the bikes and canoe, parking for the tent trailer, my wifes car, and a place to work on the MGB roadster (or any car for that matter). Plus everything else I haven’t thought about quite yet.
